This stone is so cool and one just never sees it. Made a visit to Lake City, CO a summer ago. Met a man with this gemstone in the raw. He explained that it was from the Last Chance Mine in Creed, CO. The minerals are amethyst, quartz, and Agate. I don't know whether they look like feathers or jagged mountains but it truly speaks to me. Stone is 2 3/8" tall and all sterling silver. Mounted on a split driving rein. Antique nickel spots. This piece is quieter than some but can't you just feel a piece of the mountain on your wrist?? 8 1/2" long with three hole adjustments and button post closure.
